AccessScience contains more than 8,500 articles, 110,000 dictionary terms and hundreds of Research Updates in all areas of science and technology. Access Science also contains 2,000 biographies of scientists and mathematicians, Web sites related to the main articles and an Image Gallery.

Access AccessScience at school and at home. All Ohio K-12 students and their parents, as well as K-12 educators, can use the state-funded INFOhio Electronic Resources free-of-charge. Home access requires a username and password available from your school's library media center, technology coordinator or Information Technology Center (ITC) Staff Provider.

AccessScience is funded through an LSTA grant to Libraries Connect Ohio, a cooperative effort by Ohio's three library networks and the State Library of Ohio to provide a core collection of electronic resources to all Ohio citizens.
