If your school is automated with the SirsiDynix WorkFlows software, you have access to INFOhio’s Discovery Portal! Discovery Portal replaces SchoolRooms as the user interface for one-stop searching and contains:

Content that had been collected for use within SchoolRooms: educator-selected, age-appropriate websites which are now searchable

Federated search of selected INFOhio electronic resources

Best of Web educationally-selected websites

Area Media Centers Digital Video Collection

Participants were able to join Trish Baker, Media Resources Coordinator at LACA, for a look at this new product available through their online catalog, CAT and CAT Jr. We explored the seven levels available and took suggestions and comments for future planning.

Those not automated with INFOhio were welcome to attend this session, especially if participation in INFOhio’s library automation program is under consideration.
