INFOhio Executive Director. Fredericka recognized Tombaugh for his extraordinary dedication, commitment, and invaluable contributions to public education in Ohio and to INFOhio in particular. "Dr. Tombaugh has been a strong advocate of INFOhio from the early days. His coaching and leadership have meant a great deal not only to me, personally, but also to school library media specialists throughout the state," Fredericka said.

In her presentation to Kues, Fredericka explained that "LSTA has been instrumental in providing the desperately needed seed money to automate hundreds of school libraries. In fact, in the past 3 grant cycles, they awarded 120 grants totaling almost $6.0 million to K-12 libraries, benefiting nearly one-half million Ohio students in 654 buildings."
