sure to be filled with conversations about elections, voting and
citizenship. Explore the Government and Citizenship SchoolRoom for
your age group (elementary, middle or high school) and learn about
elections, voting, citizenship and more! In Government and Citizenship
find information about the Constitution, branches of the U.S.
Government, elections and campaigns, One of the hot topics this fall is the U.S. and world economy. Check out the Economics SchoolRoom and discover the various types of economies around the world, as well as information on foreign and domestic policy and the economy and investments and the stock market.
Teachers, check out the Educator’s Guide and find classroom activities as well as ideas on managing the classroom and individualizing instruction. Educator’s Guide contains information, games and cool sites to make your classroom a hit. Fall learning is fun when exploring, discovering and learning with SchoolRooms.
Librarians can receive training on SchoolRooms at the OELMA Conference, October 22-24, 2008. There is a SchoolRooms pre-conference as well as sessions throughout the conference on using this tool that was developed by Ohio teachers and librarians and is now available to all Ohio schools.
