WELCOME BACK! Add SchoolRooms to your book bag!
SchoolRooms Basic has thousands of K-12 Web sites to explore! Use INFOhio’s Core Collection username and password, if needed.

SchoolRooms is an educator’s dream tool and it is ready for you NOW! Why do we so highly recommend this tool? Simply because your users will love it! Your faculty, your students and their parents can easily use this excellent educational resource. And they won’t have to search all over the Internet to find what they need! Take a few minutes now and review the content in SchoolRooms.

FACULTY: They will love the Educator’s Guide! Here they will find tools to assist them with classroom management, differentiated learning, lesson plans, assessment, working with students who are learning English and much more. Teachers new to the field will find the resource links for lessons and management particularly helpful.

Teachers may wish to have their students spend some time digging into the Study & Research Room for Elementary, Middle or High School. These rooms provide information about how children and young adults can best organize themselves, their space and their time for school success. Lots of helpful information on homework and testing is provided.

STUDENTS: Introduce your students to this resource as they begin research or just want to explore a topic. SchoolRooms is designed to encourage students to Explore. Discover. Learn. Encourage students to dig into an area of interest and learn while they have some fun exploring this resource. Get started with a new school year with INFOhio's SchoolRooms, something for everyone's book bag!

PARENTS: Promote SchoolRooms to your parents groups. It has SO much to offer from the Parent Guide to the Study and Research Room for Elementary, Middle and High School students. These rooms will help your children have a great beginning to the new school year. They provide information on homework, study habits, testing, appropriate use of the Internet and much more. And, the Reading Room and the Children and Young Adult Literature Room provide excellent tools to assist with reading selection and skill building. Each area includes fun activities that engage children in learning while they are having a blast. Help your students improve their skills while developing a love for learning with SchoolRooms.

LIBRARIANS: Stop searching all over the Internet for library related topics! All this information can be found in one place using the Librarians Guide. Here you will find information for you on Library Management, Literacy and Reading Support, Information Literacy, Media and Technology Literacy and Professional Development. Get some new ideas as you dig into this tool.

Get some extra training on SchoolRooms at the OELMA Conference, October 22-24, 2008. There is a SchoolRooms pre-conference as well as sessions throughout the conference on using this tool that was developed by Ohio teachers and librarians and is now available to all Ohio schools.

SchoolRooms is provided to you and your schools by INFOhio. Link to SchoolRooms from the INFOhio home page: http://www.infohio.org. You will need a username and password, the same that is needed for other INFOhio Core Collection resources. Contact your school librarian for this information.
