Preview 2007: Worth another look...
If you haven't taken time to visit
some of the 132 products from 30 vendors participating in this year's
program, you are running out of time. Even if you have, there are some
updates that make Preview 2007 worth another visit. |
 |
Core Collection Plus - In addition
to the regular pricing from the 30 vendors, three companies are part
of
INFOhio's statewide
cooperative purchase program for selected products. Depending on the
number of students being licensed, Grolier
(Scholastic), ProQuest and Thomson Gale Core Collection Plus prices
may save your district even more money. Check the most recent Price
List for details. |
 |
Recent additions to Online Price List
2007 - Check the newest version of the Price List for two recent
additions, Britannica's Global Reference Center and Rand
McNally's Classroom. (Because of its later entry to the
preview, Rand McNally's preview will extend through March 31.) An
entry for Turnitin, with special pricing through the
Management Council of the Ohio Education Computer Network, has been
added to the Price List. Another reason to check the most recent
version: A few vendors have revised their prices, and not always
higher. |
 |
Evaluation - When you and your
students and colleagues have concluded this year's preview experience,
don't forget to complete the online evaluation form that collects information about the value of Preview 2007. The form is linked
from the bottom of each vendor on the INFOhio site and from the Preview 2007
Summary Page; responses will be accepted through April 16, 2007. |

New resources to support Content Standards
INFOhio continues to identify ways
quality school library and technology programs can support Ohio's educators' implementation of
ODE's Academic Content Standards.
Take
a look at two presentations (slides with audio narration)
created for INFOhio by Gayle Geitgey,
Looking at Standards-Based Education
Through the INFOhio Lens. Together, the segments run about 38
minutes and are linked from
INFOhio and Ohio's Academic Content Standards in
the INFOhio Resources section.
