 Core Collection maintained for 2006-2007

INFOhio's Core Collection of Electronic Resources continues for the 2006-2007 school year, thanks to continued funding from state and federal sources. Appropriations from the Ohio General Assembly are administered by the Ohio Department of Education, and federal funds are awarded by the State Library of Ohio through Libraries Connect Ohio.

Please note the following for 2006-2007:

 The Core Collection username and password have been changed. Notices were sent to various distribution lists in April and August. Last year's UN/PW expires on September 15, 2006. Still need the UN/PW? Contact your local Instructional Technology Center (ITC) or central@infohio.org.

 All Help Resources have been revised. Check for many new teaching and inservice tools

 All Getting Started Guides have been updated, with new information and new screen shots. GSGs are linked from the appropriate Help Resources pages.

 The INFOhio Toolkit to help promote the Core Collection contains sections for various groups (e.g., classroom teachers, technology coordinators, parents) and includes promotional materials (bookmarks, etc.), a slide library, what's new for this school year and much more.

INFOhio receives Building Better Communities Award from SirsiDynix

Proceed to SirsiDynix Building Better Communities Awards page.INFOhio is one of five recipients of the SirsiDynix Building Better Communities Awards for 2006. INFOhio Executive Director Theresa M. Fredericka accepted the award during a special ceremony held at the American Library Association Annual Conference in New Orleans on June 24, 2006. The award includes a $10,000 stipend. Read more...
