This session will be a review of the documentation for end of year tasks for library staff and ITC staff and a demonstration of  WorldCat, the new service that will be available for our library staff for the 07-08 school year.

Sun Server Dos and Don’t

This session will be a review of the tasks needed for database maintenance including topics like how do you know if you have a good backup and cleanup on the Sun server.  There will also be a discussion on the pros/cons of ITCs sharing a Sun Server.

This session will cover derived cataloging.  It will answer some of the questions as to what is derived cataloging and when should it be used, when should you load a record with k because of multiple matching ISBNs, and when should you do some investigation to resolve the problem differently and many, many more questions that you may have about cataloging.
