INFOhio focuses on students and instruction, with digital tools supporting high quality instructional resources for all students in all learning environments. Through its strategic plan INFOhio is responsible for and committed to:

Incorporating 21st century literacy and learning skills to encourage all students to reach their full potential in our technologically advanced society

Participate in Ohio's efforts to assure that all students and teachers have the right tools, structures and relationships that inspire lifelong learning .

Continue collaborative efforts with the public library and higher education communities to provide successful transition from home to school and from grade 12 to college and careers.

Plan and publish the next generation of our website focusing on student use.

Continue to support our virtual learning community focusing on interdisciplinary and other instructional approaches that include the integration of 21st century skills, technology and global perspectives to enhance classroom teaching and student learning.

Encouraging increased use of all professionally selected resources to help all PreK-12 students, educators and parents have access to the right resources, in the right format, at the right time to meet their needs

Strengthen strategic partnerships which support common statewide programs and initiatives for inquiry-based learning, educational technology and school libraries.

Continue expansion of professional development opportunities through regional delivery of services.

Partner with OELMA to assist the Ohio Department of Education in its standards revision and model curriculum development and literacy initiatives to increase linkages with INFOhio resources and content.

Enhance INFOhio’s patron portal, which serves as a single point of contact to print and electronic resources aligned to standards, by including the Digital Video Collection and e-book collection.

Continue the development and marketing of INFOhio's Discovery Portal for increased use by all Ohio PreK-12 students, educators and parents.

Helping transform teaching and learning through efficient delivery of educational resources and information technology
