On behalf of your INFOhio team, welcome to the 2010-2011 school year! Here are a few brief reminders to get the year started:

Core Collection of Electronic Resources

No change to the list of resources available New username and password for home access (If you need this info, contact your ITC provider or central@infohio.org.)

INFOhio Toolkit

Slide Library links to Fall Update 2010: Building 21st Century Learning Environments With INFOhio. The PowerPoint has been designed for you and the in-service sessions you conduct this fall. Be sure to read the notes and check out the model curriculum slides! Supply List has masters for the two-page flier designed for faculty, the student card and the poster. The bookmark is almost ready.

Library Automation

New version of CAT Jr. New sections in the WorkFlows documentation. If you need the username/password, contact your ITC provider. Minor improvements to CAT expected by mid-September

Professional Development

Registration for INFOhio's 21st Century Learning Commons is still free. Use the new button on the INFOhio home page. Register now for the OELMA conference. Many INFOhio sessions and Terri Fred's pre-conference on INFOhio Resources are on the agenda. Watch for frequent changes to Professional Development Opportunities linked from Educator and Library Staff menus. Our first webinar is scheduled for September 7: What's New With INFOhio, 3:30-4:15 p.m.

INFOhio Awards The nomination deadline for the INFOhio Hugh Durbin Leadership Award and the INFOhio Spence White Service Award is September 10.
