Colleagues, Since its rollout at the eTech Ohio Technology
Conference in February,
INFOhio's 21st Century Many LC members are using the modules to earn one semester-hour of graduate credit. Here are some important dates to consider: Fall Semester 2010 Spring Semester 2011 Other, non-credit options are also available to Learning Commons members: Skills Certificate Professional Development Credits For additional information about the various Credit Options available, select Credit/CEU from the left menu on the Learning Commons home page. If questions remain, phone 800-966-9638 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday through Thursday, or e-mail nwoet@nwoet.org. So why join the Learning Commons? Perhaps you share the views of one participant: "I hope to learn how to incorporate 21st skills into my lessons, so students can see connections between the curriculum and how it relates to 'real life.' I want to be able to teach them things they will actually use daily, instead of just facts that they memorize for a test and then dump from their brains."
