Online subscriptions must be received by December 15th, and accounts will be activated in early January.

Using SchoolRooms, students can search library resources, interactive educational media and the Web – all at once – through a single online portal. In subject-oriented virtual rooms students will find relevant and age-appropriate content to meet their educational needs.

Students and teachers can begin their inquiry-based learning by exploring a Room based on their grade level or interest. Once inside, they can continue exploring the Room further through a learning tree, or they can seek answers to question such as How do I?, What’s This?, or Did You Know?  These areas of SchoolRooms challenge the student to ask critical thinking questions and extend their learning beyond the easiest answer. SchoolRooms also offers practical guides to help librarians and classroom teachers integrate technology and information literacy.

SchoolRooms is an innovative learning environment that encourages K-12 students to explore, discover and learn. INFOhio's SchoolRooms provides a single, student-friendly interface to high-quality content from school library catalogs, online databases, three million Best of Web teacher-selected Web pages, as well as statewide digital resources.
