SchoolRooms™ buzz featured in SLJ article

Dear Colleagues,SchoolRooms has thousands of K-12 Web sites to explore! Search INFOhio's Core Collection and automated schools, too. Use INFOhio’s Core Collection username and password, if needed.

Coverage of the SchoolRooms partnership between INFOhio and the SirsiDynix Corp. has gone national with the recent publication of an article in School Library Journal, Ohio Opens SchoolRooms: INFOhio, SirsiDynix launch singular portal statewide. The article is linked from the Promotional Materials section of INFOhio's Help Resources for SchoolRooms.

 

All Ohio educators, students and parents are welcome to use SchoolRooms through the end of the 2008-2009 school year at no cost. The portal is conveniently located from the INFOhio home page and elsewhere on our Core Collection pages. Select from a list of districts automated through INFOhio and display district library holdings while simultaneously searching many of the Core Collection resources, the OAIMC Digital Video Collection and the Web sites especially selected for SchoolRooms. For those not automated by INFOhio, users can select any district to experience this aspect of the product.

 Jennifer Schwelik's December promotional message to help inform your colleagues about some of the resources available in SchoolRooms.

A new version of a SchoolRooms bookmark, with and without the current home access username and password included.

INFOhio continues to collect opinions about our implementation of SchoolRooms. To help evaluate and to make suggestions, please use the Help Evaluate area on the SchoolRooms home page. Also, use this area to report broken links and suggest added Web sites to the development team. Thank you for encouraging wide use of SchoolRooms so Ohio students, educators and parents can thoroughly experience this new way to explore, discover and learn.
