Dear Colleagues,

The username and password for INFOhio’s Core Collection of Electronic Resources will be changing for the 2008-2009 school year. We know some schools are already preparing orientation materials and other handouts for next school year. The new username/password will go live on July 1, 2008.

The 2008-2009 username/password was distributed to visitors to the INFOhio booth at the eTech Ohio conference and has been posted to our All Librarians distribution lists. The new username/password is also available from your regional ITC provider, or from INFOhio Central.

The username and password may be included in handbooks, newsletters and other printed materials that go only to teachers, students and/or their parents. Due to the license agreements, the username/password may NOT be published where it would be available to the general public. Therefore, it cannot be posted on any district, building or library Web page that is publicly accessible. It cannot be included in any publications, written or electronic, that are distributed to your entire community. Doing any of the above is considered a violation of INFOhio's licensing agreements and can result in the loss of access to any or all resources.

The current username and password will continue to function through September 15, 2008. This transition period will allow our users to continue to reap the wealth of information available through the Core Collection without interruption during the summer months.

New username/password bookmark masters and other support materials will be available from the INFOhio Web site’s Toolkit no later than July 31. The password for protected documents has been distributed to educators through the All Librarians distribution lists.
